Fly To The Rainbow is the second studio album by the Scorpions,the German heavy metal band, released in 1974. In support of theiralbum, Lonesome Crow, Scorpions perform as opener for the British hard rock / heavy metal band UFO. At the end of the tour,Scorpions guitarist Michael Schenker was asked to fill an openposition as guitarist UFOs and accept the role, while Schenker's departure. resulted in a break from the band but Rudolf Schenkerand Klaus Meine then eventually joined the band Dawn Road whichconsists of guitarist Ulrich Roth fill the role of Michael, and also as adrummer Jürgen Rosenthal, and bass guitarist Francis Buchholz.new member to return under the name of the Scorpions and therelease of Fly To The Rainbow and moved into the heavy rocksound of previous psychedelic Krautrock experimental than their first album.
